Bill Perry is a British Columbia west coast singer and song writer who has spent much of his life in the outdoors as a forester, skier and mountaineer. He lives in Ucluelet, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island’s west coast, where in recent years he owned and operated Green Wave Adventures, a company specializing in guided hikes and scrambles near the Wild Pacific Trail.
Winters, meanwhile, he taught skiing at Mount Washington, also on the Island. He is now is a cross-country ski instructor at Cypress Mountain, near Vancouver.
His first CD, Green Wave Rising, evokes the rugged beauty of the Island’s outer coast, and tells some stories of the people who live and work there.
His second album, Coast Mountain Echoes, celebrates the spectacular but little known mountain ranges of Vancouver Island and the climbers and skiers who are drawn to the heights.
